Walking the West Highland Way · 7 May 2012

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My chosen charity is CRY who offer Fast Track Service for those affected by cardiac deaths in their families

"As well as working with the Department of Health and others to develop high quality cardiac services for young people and families, CRY also provides a significant amount of funding to the NHS to help ‘fast-track’ the complex range of services needed following a sudden cardiac death to determine the risk to other family members. CRY is to be congratulated for its ongoing role in the development of these services.

"Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
