On March 11th 2017, I will be heading to Lukla Airport as part of a small team to begin the ascent to Everest Base Camp. It will take approximately 9 days to reach our highest point which is called Kalapattar, 5545 metres above sea level, that's the equivalent to climbing Salisbury Cathedral 45.6 times..or even, 2,218 telephone boxes if you'd prefer!

As tempting as those last two options are, I've opted to climb to Mount Everest's Base Camp as it's been a life-long ambition of mine and one I'll get to share with my Dad. 

I've already fully funded my trip but wanted to take the opportunity to fundraise. 

Every penny I raise will go to the wonderful Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to say thank you for all that they've done and are doing to treat my Niece, who was diagnosed with leukaemia (ALL) just 5 days before Christmas.
