The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I am planning to swim the equivalent distance of the British channel in one go, this is 32km, some 1300 lengths and believe it will take me roughly 15 hours. This is the biggest challenge I have ever taken as a few months back I could hardly swim a full length without stopping. Special praise for Cambrian Aquatics for allowing me to train in the pool for this endurance swim.

I am doing the swim starting on Sunday the 11th of June and will be swimming through the night hoping to finish early morning Monday.

I am raising money for the 'Welsh Air ambulance'. I would love to raise £500 so would be delighted if you could sponsor me. Any amount helps.
