Withnail: "Are you the farmer?"
Marwood: "Shut up. I'll deal with this"
Withnail: "We've gone on holiday by mistake. Are you the farmer?"
I'll be brief. I've signed up to do this ultramarathon in Iceland.
It seemed doable at the time, even though I've not run further than 42km before. Two months on, I've now read the instructions and realised the issue here isn't so much the distance (55km), it's that its taking place in the mountains with 5,500 metres of climbing, possibly freezing conditions, snow and fording a river. The fun starts with a bus drive at 4.30am and there's a nine hour cut off. And you have to bring a hypothermia blanket.
So, pretty much a mistake on my part.
But one I'm going to nevertheless try, and if anyone would be willing to sponsor Great Ormond Street that would be great. Thank you.
