We provide children's hospice care to children and families across Sussex

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are over 1,000 kids in Sussex whose lives will end too soon. Chestnut Tree House provides practical, social and spiritual support throughout each child’s life, however short it may be. It also offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care, and sibling support.

It costs over £3.5m each year to provide all the care services provided by Chestnut Tree House. Families are never charged. Only 7p in every pound is funded by the government, so this charity relies heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.

My daughter loves going on the swings. How would a child who cannot leave their wheelchair do this exhilarating activity? Chestnut Tree House has an adapted swing. And she loves swimming. How would a physically disabled child get into a pool? Chestnut Tree House has the equipment.

I ran the Milton Keynes Half on 2nd May and will run the Worthing 10K on 5th June to help raise money for this wonderful hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
