Mary Stevens Hospice provides specialist holistic care free of charge for adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families in the Dudley Borough. More than 80% of the £3.5m annual costs are paid for by donations and funds raised by supporters from a compassionate, local community.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This October I'm taking on my 6th half marathon in Birmingham. This time I'm raising money for a charity closer to home as part of their 25th Anniversary Capital Appeal.

Mary Stevens Hospice are appealing to the community to help raise £3 million for the refurbishment of the Day Services Unit, which will see an increase in the number of people they can help by more than 3,500.

Included in the development will be brand new treatment rooms, state-of-the-art new equipment, improved child bereavement facilities, improved education and training facilities, and a fully-equipped family apartment, which will offer families the opportunity to stay at the Hospice during a critical time when they would not wish to be separated from their loved one.

All donations will go to this appeal. If you have any more questions, please ask me!

Thank-you for your help and support. I hope you enjoy following my marathon journey!
