Over the past 3 months I have been pushing myself out of my comfort zone in order to complete my first ever half marathon. This started out as a personal goal for 2017, but then I thought what a shame it would be if I didn't raise some money after all the hours I have spent pounding the streets on my own! 

The Emily Ffion Trust is very close to my heart as it was set up by my two wonderful friends, Sara and John, in memory of their beautiful girl, Emily. She died suddenly when she was almost 2, leaving her parents and older brother's life in pieces. 

To see the way that they have dealt with this is nothing short of inspirational and they are determined to keep her memory alive through the Trust and by never shying away from talking about her. 

I would love to raise some money for this charity to help them to continue the work they do in supporting suddenly bereaved parents, as well as buying equipment for children's wards to help little ones with breathing problems.
