My Mum was always a very private person, so I’m not going to go into detail about what happened to her, and what happened to us as a result. She would hate the idea of people feeling sorry for her, so all I’m going to say is that the people who looked after her when she was sick were probably the best people I’ve ever met in my life.

Not only did the nurses at Salisbury Hospice take care of my Mum, they looked after our family when we were going through the most impossible time, and I will never forget all the amazing people who made her death as dignified as it could be. The kindness they show people they barely know every day, their ability to make a horrendous situation bearable is something that I have infinite respect for, and they deserve your donations. Please give generously so they can continue helping other families, as they rely on charitable donations to keep going.
