Story

About migraineMigraine is the most common and disabling neurological disorder in the UK, which affects 1 in 7 people. Migraine affects many aspects of a person's life, their work, education, relationships and mental health.

About me: I was diagnosed with migraine in my early teens and it has impacted almost every area of my life ever since. My diagnosis was not a surprise as I'd witnessed first hand the debilitating effect of migraine on my Mum. After many years of trying to seek medical help I was diagnosed with chronic migraine in 2021. My symptoms include tinnitus, visual disturbances, nausea, brain fog, pain and low mood. I rely on my amazing family and friends to support me when times are tough, but also knowing that there are organisations like the Migraine Trust campaigning and providing much needed support has given me so much comfort and hope! My dream is that my son and other children around the world are given access to new treatments and even a cure for migraine one day so that they can live without this condition impacting their lives in the way it has mine.

About the Migraine Trust:  The Migraine Trust is the largest charity dedicated to the fight against migraine in the UK. Your donation will help them continue to fund research, provide support and information, and campaign for change. Please donate to #MarchForMigraine today to help those living with migraine.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, your support is so appreciated!
