Restless Development is championing a growing movement, led by a new generation that is more active, more connected and more able to lead the change needed than ever before. The vision is that young people everywhere are able to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world. In the past 30 years the network of young volunteers has grown to over 17,000 people worldwide. They have trained, inspired and helped more than seven million children, young people, and community members in Africa, South Asia and the UK.

I will be working in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa, one of the poorest places in South Africa. Rates of youth unemployment are very high with a rate of 50% in 2016. Alongside this, there are incredibly high levels of unwanted pregnancy, gender based violence and people infected with HIV/AIDs within these communities. Through this project I will be focussed on sexual rights and education as well as sustainable living. 

By donating you are raising funds towards the charity by helping me and the rest of the team carry out projects on the topics previously discussed. None of the donated money goes towards me or any of my living costs or flights when I am in South Africa.
