Story
We are both taking part in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 18th May 2014 and are raising money for the Anthony Nolan charity.
Our nephew/cousin Alexander died aged 23 in April 2012 from leukaemia. Alex battled bravely for two years, having two stem cell transplants in an effort to save his life. Unfortunately both transplants were rejected by his body and he was told by doctors that they could do no more.
Anthony Nolan saves the lives of those who desperately need stem cell transplants by finding them matching donors. Over 8,000 patients have been given the gift of life through their register, and Anthony Nolan were very supportive to Alex's Mum, Dad and brother.
