Exactly 3 years ago I had the most life changing experience of my life to date. I came home to find my lovely Mummy so ill that she couldn't function. She was rushed into hospital and cancerous tumours were found on her brain and her lungs and her bones. It was devastating news. I am lucky to have 3 wonderful siblings, two of whom are much younger than me (8 and 11), and my first thought was breaking it to them. Penhaligons friends knew exactly how to advice me and told how to interact with Tommy and Mimi in respect to the situation. Sometimes I would just ring them myself to have a cry, get things off my chest and have someone to guide me through. Without them I'm not sure I could have coped. 

So to show my appreciation, I am doing something which I fear, running 13.1 miles. All in one day and hopefully under 2 hours.
