Story

In loving memory of Aimi Lawson. Our thoughts and prayers are with Zara, Toby, Shay and the rest of the family at this difficult time.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We've made the decision to walk 106km around the edge of the Isle of Wight continuously, without stopping for sleep, on the 30th April 2016.

We've decided to try to raise money for the PKD Charity. Our absolutely amazing friend Zara had a little girl, Aimi, who was born with PKD, a rare and life threatening kidney disease. Unfortunately since starting this, Aimi has passed, but we will continue to raise money for PKD in memory of Aimi and to help others who are going through the same struggles that she and her family did.

We have completely self funded our places on this challenge so 100% of the donations we receive will go to the PKD charity, they won't have to pay any fees for us to do this.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The PKD charity provides information and support to patients and families affected by polycystic kidney disease, funds research into discovering possible treatments and raises awareness of PKD, providing information to patients, the public, the medical community and the media.
