This is a story about Mike and me stretching our Christmas-pudding shaped bodies into lycra and challenging ourselves to 'do it again'.

It's six years since my fabulous sister Katy (KT) lost her battle with breast cancer and, over that time, we have seen others struggle along the same path.  On our first Coast to Coast journey we enjoyed the company of Sue Duffin who has sadly since joined the ever-growing list of friends who are no longer here following their diagnosis.  Wonderful women who will not see their children settle into adult lives.  It's not right and we're proud to join the team of friends who want to make a difference.

Every penny you give will make a difference - we are heaving ourselves out of our comfort-zones to help buy a new mammogram machine for the Breast Institute at Nottingham University City Hospital.  Whilst being squeezed by this machine is not a pleasant experience it is one so close to our hearts - it's keeping a close eye on me and female friends and family as it does for so many other women in Nottingham and the surrounding area.  We know the old machine is needing replacement - dig deep, enjoy our lycra shame and let's make a difference together.

Thank you.
