I will be facing one of the biggest challenges of my life so far, running 26 miles in the London Marathon!

Many of you will know that running is quite new to me and it was only 2 years ago that I started out trying to run towards a 5K goal.

This will be my hardest ever challenge and I will have to dig deep to be focused and committed........But my London Marathon challenge will help to support the lives of  vulnerable children and their families.

I have worked for Action for Children for almost 20 years and have seen first hand the very real difference made to the lives of the children and families that we work with who face their own significant challenges in life. As many of the children we work with live in poverty, are vulnerable or at risk from harm, I  have seen that a little extra funding can go a long way towards making a real difference to their lives by helping them to be safe and supported.

I would love for my friends and family to support me on my running and fundraising journey. Even a small donation can add up to make a big difference.

I will face this HUGE challenge by taking it one step at a time..... I hope with perseverance, determination and your support each little step will add up to a Marathon.
