Brighton Marathon 2010 · 18 April 2010 ·
Hi! My name is Ali O'Neill, I started running about a year ago in order to keep fit and I just got hooked. It's a great way to relieve the stress of bringing up three children whilst finding time for myself. Last summer I agreed to run the Brighton Marathon on 18th April 2010 with a couple of friends and we have now set up a running team; Team GFR (Global Fun Runners). I recently ran the Berkhampsted Half Marathon with two of my fellow team mates and good friends, Claire Fearn and Steve Parrianen, which was quite an achievement!
I have researched quite a few charities to run for but Make-A-Wish Foundation® stood out. Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK aims to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. A wish granted is truly magical and provides memories that last a lifetime...
My own children have been so supportive and were my motivation for getting out there in the cold mornings and evenings to train. Also a big Thank You to Harriet Goslett my Personal Trainer for encouraging me and giving me great running advice.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and any donations will be truly appreciated.
I promise to do my best!
Love Ali x
