Thank you for visiting my fund raising page for Shelter. Many of you will know that I run the Lettings department of Hamptons International in Wimbledon Village. We are privileged to let fantastic properties in one of the most beautiful (and expensive!) parts of London. But not everyone is lucky enough to be in this position.

Homelessness is often associated with sleeping on the streets, but the majority of homeless people are families or single people who don't sleep rough. They may be housed in temporary accommodation - often B&Bs and hostels - have been illegally evicted, or are living in run-down, dangerous or overcrowded properties. Hundreds of thousands of such people turn to Shelter for support. Shelter understands the harm that bad housing causes and the burden it puts on families, relationships, health and children's education.

By riding the Cycletta in Brighton, I am hoping to raise as much as possible to help Shelter with the unrelenting work that they do to uphold the belief that everyone has the right to a decent, safe and affordable home.
