Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  It seems the Coniston 5.25 mile swim in 2016 didn't quite quench my thirst for lake water so I have decided to go into double figures this year, yikes!

My friend & colleague Helen Carr has kindly offered her husband Jeff to support and provide me with fuel intake in his role of kayaker. He will need to spend a considerable time on the lake, at least 8 hours in order to steer me in a relatively straight line to shore. Helen is an avid campaigner & supporter of The RLIN Lifeboat Fund as are a lot of colleagues within DWP. Some of my friends also give up precious time to man these boats and go out in treachrous conditions
