We are travelling through unprecedented and difficult times, and we are very conscious that these times are harder for some than they are for others.  Those who work in healthcare providing support for others are at the forefront of our prayers as they give so generously of their time and energy to support those in need.  Among those are the staff of Barnsley Hospice who continue to give quality of life and to care so conscientiously for our loved ones as they come to the end of their lives.

We as two churches in North Barnsley are finding new ways of “being” church and “being community”, and while we do this, we want to continue to find ways of supporting the community around us, as our doors are closed and we are unable to welcome anyone in.  One of the ways we can do this is to support the health workers in our community, and so we are working to raise funds for Barnsley Hospice so that they can continue with the phenomenal work they do within our community.
