In 2017 I will complete 30 years working for the bank and I want to do something to mark the occasion.  The Fastnet is a Race that lasts around 5 days, starting at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, going around the Fastnet Rock off the coast of Ireland before finishing in Plymouth and as it is also running that year I am going to achieve an ambition of mine by entering, and hopefully completing, this amazing event.  It will require skill, strength and stubbornness to complete it so l'll be really proud to take part.

Even better, I have a chance to raise funds for UKSA who do great work, giving disadvantaged people the chance to get out on the water.  I'll be doing a bunch of stuff to raise money over the next couple of months and if you are able to make any sort of a donation, whatever the size, I would be really grateful.
