I am sleeping out on the 8/09/18 on Preston Flag market in order to raise funds for Fox Street . As we know, a lot of providers have lost government funding for providing relief to those who are homeless and its extremely hard for those on the streets to get help..

Sleeping out will give me more of understanding of how hard it is being homeless, the unknown sounds, uncomfortable floor and the cold air while trying to "sleep". Sleeping out will give me more of an understanding and help gain better awareness of those in need and the problems people living on the street face. Sometimes its easy to make wrong assumptions about others on the streets and bringing more awareness about how it isn't easy getting off the streets will hopefully promote more understanding and compassion. Let's love each other endlessly.

The funds raise will give a homeless man a bed for the night or a good over their head. With support of staff to help provide accomodation for those on the streets. In January, 63 people were provided with a place. 27 people have moved on positively.
