We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My cousin Sam, was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP) but suffered rare complications. Sam went through a series of operations including five hours of surgery to remove his colon, which was ravaged by the illness and he died on October the13th. He was 9 years old.

Life will never be the same without our lovely cousin, brother, son and nephew and it has made me realise how short life really is.

In memory of Sam, I will be doing a sky dive, from 12,000ft and all the money I raise will be going to the Yorkhill Children's Foundation. His dignity and peace were ensured until the end and the emotional care and support continues for us as a family.
