Ambers Arc

Jemma Gooch-Boags is raising money for Alice's Arc

Ambers Arc · 21 February 2022

We are a children's cancer charity funding research into finding more targeted and less harsh treatments for the childhood solid tumour, Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS). We have invested in 13 RMS research projects at leading UK institutions. We also support the children and families impacted by the disease.

Story

Ambers Arc has been created in support of Alice's Arc Children's Cancer Charity, which raises funds specifically for the treatment of the cancer Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Our daughter Amber is now reaching an incredible 5 years post diagnosis milestone, following her diagnosis of Parameningeal Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2017. Ambers treatment of chemotherapy and proton therapy (radiation) to her brain resulted in her tumour becoming stable, and we are lucky beyond measure that she is still with us today, but many children are not as fortunate.

We believe every child deserves a cure, and are fundraising to help Alice's Arc as they invest in research to develop kinder more effective treatments with less long term side effects and help more children beat the beast that is Rhabdo.

Please help us support this incredible charity.
