AMCO are taking fundraising to new heights by taking part in the Snowdon by Night Challenge in aid of The Lily Mae Foundation!
The team at AMCO are going to push themselves to their own limits to trek throughout the night with only head torches and the moonlight to guide the way to the summit of the highest mountain in England and Wales.
Once the team have reached the summit and celebrated their success they will then start the descent surrounded by the sun rising across Snowdonia National Park and reaching the finish line just in time for breakfast!
The Lily Mae Foundation is a Midlands based charity that offer their support to parents and families who have gone through the tragedy of stillbirth or neonatal death. The funds that The Lily Mae Foundation raise go towards raising awareness and amongst other things they provide:
The Lily Mae Foundation raises money in order to provide much needed support to Parents and Families who have lost a baby to Stillbirth or Neonatal Death.The Foundation offers many forms of support for Parents, Families and Friends following the loss of a baby to Stillbirth or Neonatal Death.
They provide Memory Boxes and much needed support to hospitals across the Midlands. Their Memory Boxes provide much needed support for bereaved parents. They allow the parents to collect memories and precious items and store them. As a parent you want to protect your child; when you lose a child, you want and need to protect their memory.
