150km for 15th birthday · 8 February 2021

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £10million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year to celebrate my 15th birthday I've decided to run (and the odd walk for those who can't run) 150km for charity.

A lot of people will know that I love to run and to add another challenge to what I love doing, in lockdown, I thought I would raise some much needed money at the same time.

I've chosen St Wilfrid's Hospice as they really do make a difference to local lives. Over the last few years they have cared for some very special people close to me and my family. Just last year, that included the amazing Daisy Strange, who we will particularly remember on the 15th February and my old Primary School Headteacher, Sue Patrick. In memory of all the families they have supported, I am running and walking the routes they all loved.

Thank you, in advance to those of you who will support me by running with me and to those whose donations will make a real difference to families that need the care of St Wilfrid's Hospice.
