Fundraising for Penny Appeal
Story
Assalamu-alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu,
JazakAllah/Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year Ramadan 2016 I'm going to Masjid al-Aqsa with Al Buruj Press
and 100+ people. While we're out there, I need your help to make a
difference by aiding us to provide Iftari by hand to the poor and
destitute.
In previous years via Zaimah Charity and Penny Appeal,
participants of Al Buruj Press were able to provide an amazing amount of
Charity and this year it is happening again!
This land is so special and the blessings are special.
The different causes which the money will go in Palestine are:
1) Iftari in Masjid al-Aqsa and Jerusalem in the odd nights, we will do live distribution on the 25th, 27th and 29th nights of Ramadan. This will help thousands of poor people. Many people who attend in the nights of Qadr cannot afford Iftari food. A basic Iftari of water, bread and yogurt costs £1 whilst a full Iftari consisting of chicken, bread and the aforementioned costs £6-£8 each, we will be doing both in their thousands insha'allah.
2) the New Madrasah located next to Masjid al-Aqsa founded by the President of Masjid al-Aqsa himself. This is for kids and also caters orphans etc. This is a new unique project which we will visit whilst we're there and is something which we will leave long term insha'allah with our own very hands.
3) Penny Appeal's Feed the World programme which provides 1 million Iftari to some of the most deprived people around the world. This we also supported last year. If there is anyone who wants their money not to go to this and to only go to Jerusalem/Masjid al-Aqsa, please inform me.
We are accepting all Zakah, Lillah and Sadaqah etc. If you are donating it online, please let me know what you want the money to go to.

Masjid al-Aqsa is the 1st Qibla of Islam and the very place where the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was taken to the Heavens in the Night Journey.
