Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. In December 2018, a 100 person team from HSBC, will embark on a 4 day trek through the Musandam region of Oman to raise money for WaterAid. All funds raised will support WaterAid in the delivery of crucial projects in India with the aim of providing poor communities with access to clean water, working toilets and improved hygiene. I will be spending 6 - 8 hours over 4 days on my feet, trekking in the gruelling heat and wild camping in the remote mountain ranges at night.
