Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Well I did it!!  Despite a last minute viral throat infection and being dosed up with antibiotics I went and became a London Triathlete.

My main fears were 1) getting out of my wetsuit 2) locating my kit in Transition and 3) not "hitting the wall".  With the first two conquered that only left enjoying the 2 laps to Tower Bridge on my bike and leaving enough in the "tank" for the small matter of a 10k plod.  I didn't have any goals other than to cross the line - however finding myself with a Finish Time of 3:02:27 I am marginally annoyed I didn't push myself.  NEXT TIMEI will be sending out a full "race report" with photos to all of you who have been so generous in supporting me in my endeavours and raising money for MS.  I still have some money to collect and am hopeful to hit the 2k mark.  Thank you so much to everyone.  I would also like to say a very special thanks to the other members of THE Team:  Mum for her wonderfully nutritious food in the build-up and rapturous support on the Day and Maz for joining me in this rather insane challenge/being a fellow London Triathlete and for tolerating the relentless 5am Bike Rides!
