At Jewish Child’s Day we believe no Jewish child should live in poverty, need or suffering - anywhere. We support over 25,000 Jewish children every year, who suffer from physical and emotional disabilities, neglect, abuse and financial hardship, therefore your support will make a huge impact.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As part of my Bat Mitzvah preparations I was lucky enough to go to Israel and during this trip I visited the Jerusalem Hills Children’s Home. The Home looks after children aged 7-14 who are at risk and provides different therapies to support and help the children.

Visiting the home first hand made me realise how lucky I am to be able to live with my family and how fortunate I have been throughout my life. I would like to raise money to enable these girls to also celebrate their Bat Mitzvah.

I started fundraising by braiding hair but due to the Covid19 pandemic I am now baking cupcakes for the NHS and my local foodbank. I hope to bake 200 cupcakes in total!

Many thanks for sponsoring me to raise money to help the girls in the children’s home.
