Walk the Blackpool Lights · 7 October 2022

Rosemere Cancer Foundation supports world-class care for the 70,000 people in Lancashire and South Cumbria currently living with cancer, by funding cutting-edge equipment, research, training, and patient welfare projects to make their cancer journey more effective, comfortable and stress-free.

Story

As many of you will know, our lives have been impacted by cancer yet again. Throughout some pretty tough days, everyone at Rosemere Cance Centre in Preston has been amazing: empathetic, kind and incredibly caring.

Words can’t describe how grateful we are to this foundation, so we wanted to show our support in this regard and raise money to ensure they can keep helping other families.

In order to try and give a little bit back to people who give us so much, 20 of us have signed up to “Walk the Lights” in Blackpool on 7th October. If anyone can spare a little something to sponsor us, we would be so grateful. We know that the cost of living crisis is impacting us all but if you could spare even £1, every penny helps. If you can’t help, please could you share this.
