Story

On the 20th October this year, I am taking part in a charity zipslide across the River Clyde. I'm a little terrified about the whole height/harness combination and will most probably be a nervous wreck on the day but I am looking forward to the experience. However, I am not just doing this zipslide to conquer some fears, I want to do it to raise money for a very worthwhile appeal, The Beatson Pebble Appeal.

The Beatson Pebble Appeal is a campaign raising money to build a cancer research centre, which will complete the Glasgow Centre for Cancer Research. Cancer affects an increasing number of individuals in Scotland and around the world every year. Current cancer research has helped to decrease mortality rates from cancer over the last decade, so it is imperative that this research is continued and is improved.

This appeal personally means a lot to me and I would really appreciate it if everyone helped me raise money for this worthy cause! Thank you!:D
