Fundraiser Elf

Amy Willis is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Fundraiser Elf · 25 December 2020

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Tis the season for festive fundraising..... And for that Elf that never stays on the shelf to move in.

That's right it's nearly that time of year again. No matter how hard we plan or how much time we've spent browsing Instagram and Facebook for ideas, we still find ourselves climbing into bed at night, getting comfortable and drifting off to sleep after a long day.... Only to remember that pesky Elf that's come to stay for 24 days!

Having a large year age gap between my children means I now have 10 years of Elf experience under my belt.

This year I've decided to share some of our favourite elf ideas with you all and take some of the stress out with a list of what you will need but ask for a small favour in return.

Something that has been hit hard during the pandemic is charity fundraising. Charities that relay on the money from donations and events now need it more then ever.

The MS society provides valuable support for those living alone with MS but many of the services available have been put on pause and will continue that way throughout the winter months. This has been an uncertain, lonely and scary time for many.

The MS society have been working endlessly with the community to make sure everyone affected by MS gets up - to - date information, practical help and ways to connect during these difficult times.

With the help of our Elf I'd like to try and raise £250 by Christmas day. This will be split 50/50 between The MS society and The MS society Newbury and district group.

If our mischievous elf has helped you with any ideas or you'd just like to follow the fun, Please would you consider donating £1.

Or please just make a donation so my completely outside of the box idea doesn't fall flat.

Also follow the main Facebook page and post the best of your own elf ideas too - I need some fresh ones for this year.
