Story

Some of you may or may not know that my mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease back in June, and sadly passed away the 21st September. In honour of my mum, I've decided to set myself the challenge of running 100k in 28 days (05/11 - 02/12).

MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and the spinal cord and affects around 5,000 people in the UK. Not much is known around what causes MND to develop, and there is no cure.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association aim to improve access to care for those living with MND, as well as funding for research.
