Story

When I took Neil to the hospice it was one of the hardest things I've done in the last three and a half years of his cancer battle. I was taking my husband to a hospice. I can hand on heart say that it has been the most emotional six weeks of my life. I did not think it would be possible to make happy memories,  or feel like we had had a nice evening together again. But the hospice is about living, enjoying every drop of life that's left,  right up until the end. The team at St Michaels have been an amazing support to us as a family, we have made beautiful memories there which we can treasure forever. At Neil's funeral if any one wishes to give a donation it will be going to St Michaels. This page is for anyone wishing to donate but not attending the funeral.

About the charity

We provide a range of services in Herefordshire and the surrounding area to people living with a terminal illness. Care is free to patients, their families and carers. This is thanks to supporters taking part in events, visiting our shops, playing our Lottery, donating and leaving gifts in wills.
