Story
So this year I've decided to step completely out of my comfort zone and try something new to raise money for the place that is very close to my heart. When I was first asked to consider dancing in front of approximately 400 people, getting a fake tan and wearing sequins, I was terrified and thought there's no way I can do it! I have zero coordination, dance skills or experience but then I thought;
1. My mum loved watching Strictly Come Dancing and would think this is brilliant. She had always hoped her daughter would dance but then ended up standing in cold, muddy fields watching me run!
2. St Rocco's supported us as a family in ways we could never have imagined. In our darkest times, they were there. They put my mum back together when she had lost hope and gave us precious weeks that we would not have had. They provided the help and support we needed to care for her at home through their Hospice at Home service. No words can ever fully express what this meant to us.
3. This year I'm turning 40 and this could be the perfect challenge. ..and believe me it will be challenging! Plus I get to be glam for an evening doing something where I won't get covered in mud or lose any toenails!
Please donate and support St Rocco's Hospice. This place really is a tower of strength to the people who need them at their most difficult time 💚💚💚
