Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.... and a huge thank you to those who made donations to Plan UK in support of my "El Camino" walk. 

I completed the walk on 11 August ...it was a great experience....

I did "Santiago's Way" walk over 5.5 days (from 6 August 2013) to raise some money for Plan International - a charity which I already support as it does great work for under privileged children and their families in developing countries. I particularly admire their "Because I'm a girl" project - a project aimed at helping create opportunities for girls and their education. A girl who makes it through both high quality primary and secondary education is...

• ...less likely to experience violence or marry and have children whilst she is still a child.
• ...more likely to be literate, healthy and survive into adulthood, as are her children.
• ...more likely to understand her rights and be a force for change.
