I was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic in my mid 30s. To say it was a shock would be an understatement. 
Having the team at RCHT there to support me during this time was a lifesaver. This is my opportunity to give something back to the team, hopefully make their jobs a little easier and with any luck ensure they can continue their amazing work supporting diabetic patients across Cornwall!
