Story

***now my employer has agreed to match fund up to £2,500 so every donation is doubled***

First, thanks for visiting my page ! Two friends and i are embarking on a number of ultra marathons in 2022 culminating in a 130 mile canal run in August. On 28th May we will be running 100 km (62 miles) from London to Brighton, hopefully finishing before nightfall but who knows, anything can happen !

I decided that it would make a real difference if i used the opportunity this year to raise some money for charity and so far with my runs in 2022 i've raised over £2,000 which is incredible. With so many global issues at present, not least the terrible war in Ukraine, i still think its incredibly important to continue support for national and local charities which is why i chose a children's charity, Make A Wish who really do make a difference in the darkest hours.

If you decide to sponsor me, i'd like to say a huge thank you as it really will make a difference to somebody. Equally i understand not everybody can.

Make-A-Wish® UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness.
