One hungover Sunday a few months ago I decided to run a marathon, not keen on road running i thought I'd do something different and stumbled on the Matterhorn Ultra. Having a fuzzy head I didnt really read up on it, just entered and paid the money.

Turns out to be 48kms (29.8miles) with 3600m (11,800ft) of ascent, or as i stupidly worked out after a training session on the Valdes 37.5 times up the Valde Terres. Scenery looks nice though!
