Story

So, what am I doing?!

Some friends and I are getting together to cycle from Hook of Holland, through Belgium and Holland, and into Germany, where we will head south on the Vennbahn ( http://www.vennbahn.eu/en/ ) almost as far as Luxembourg, when we turn and head for Brussels.

Along the way we will be covering a couple of finishes of the spring classics the pros do.

Overall it's about 320 miles over 4 days, and about as strenuous as running three and a half marathons.

Why am I doing this?

1) it's a challenge

2) I was asked

3) it's a great cause

4) I have a personal interest in the charity

5) I can't say no to a challenge

6) I like cycling.

7) The company.

8) It's a great charity.

9) The charity is run by a friend's sister.

So, it's going to be 4 days of cycling on the wrong side of the road, in cycle-mad countries raising money for a fantastic charity - what's not to like?
