We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In the past I have regularly donated to charities and have participated in events to raise money.

2013 is no different, this year I am raising funds for the vital work that the British Heart Foundation do, the research, the treatments, the tests and also the work they do to help to try and prevent heart disease www.bhf.org.co.uk. A few years ago my Dad passed away after suffering from cardiomyopathy and this year I want to help the BHF with as much support as I can.

This year I am doing a series of cycle rides around the UK to help raise cash for the BHF. The main challenge is the Way of the Roses in May (www.wayoftheroses.co.uk) which is 170 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington covering beautiful countryside that the UK has to offer with challenging hills over the Pennines. I will be pushing myself to the limits for this two day ride.

I appreciate the current strain on households due to economic pressures, but if I can ask you to donate as little as £1 then that will help me get from one side of the country to another under my own steam with a smile on my face knowing that we together are doing our bit to help.

Thanks in advance

Andrew
