Gerald Blackmore, my Father in Law, died of Motor Neurone Disease 7 years ago. It was my first direct experience of knowing someone with the disease. It shook me to see how awful the disease was and that so little is known about it and that today there is no known cure. Public awareness is low.  MNDA are working hard to find a cure as well as giving comfort and support to sufferers and their families.
