Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am braving the demanding elements of Snowdonia and taking part in the Slateman triathlon to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
As many of you may know, my daughter was born prematurely at 33 weeks. Due to this she spent the first 4 weeks of her life in NICU. The care and expertise offered by the staff within the Unit is second to none. I would like to raise as much money as possible in order to show my appreciation to the Unit for caring for my daughter in the early weeks of her life.
I would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me for taking on this challenge.
For those interested in seeing what the Slateman triathlon entails, you can find further information on the official website which is www.snowdoniaslateman.com. Basically, it involves a 1km swim in Lake Padarn, a 51km cycle and a 11km run. The event also has a live tracker and I can be followed during the race by typing in my name on the website tracker.
