Tiny Lives is an incredible charity based at the special care baby unit at the RVI Newcastle who provide much needed support to around 800 premature babies and their families every year. In February this included my own family when my daughter Florence was born 5 weeks early. Tess and I will never forget the kindness shown by the SCBU team at a very challenging time in our lives. Little things made a big difference whilst being separated from our new daughter including an infant comforter (with mum's and baby's scent) which Tess could leave with Florie when they were apart. This is one of the many aids of support that this charity fund. I've purposefully picked this charity as it's the most personal to me and my family after everything we went through at the start of this year.
