It is our silver wedding anniversary and 50th birthdays this summer and we have decided to do a fundraising challenge for a charity that we have been supporting called Genesis Housing, part of Imagine If Trust.

Our challenge will be for us to run 150 kilometres in 10 days starting from Friday 30th July 2021 and ending on Sunday 8th August 2021. Andrew will run 10 x 10K and Tracy will run 10 x 5K.

If you were thinking of buying us a gift this year we would ask you to consider making a donation instead. It's going to be a tough challenge but we are determined to complete it.

The challenge is in aid of Genesis Housing, part of Imagine If Trust. Genesis Housing provides supported housing in Wavertree, Liverpool (where we live) for men and women with a wide variety of social needs. It's a brilliant cause run by some truly inspirational people who through pragmatism and compassion help bring meaningful change to people's lives. Please see below some case studies.

Imagine If and Genesis Housing also host Christmas dinner each year (except for 2020 of course - which was done remotely) for 200+ people who otherwise would not have a proper Christmas dinner. It's a magical event that we always pop into with a tremendous atmosphere and a real Christmas spirit. We have been supporting Imagine If and Genesis Housing for a few years now and would be very grateful for any donations. As well as the Gift Aid the charity will get, we will also match any donation on a pound for pound basis e.g. if you donate £10, we will give a matching donation of £10.

PS If anyone would like to join us on one of the days that we are running, we would be absolutely delighted. On weekdays we are running at 6am (early we know!) and 9am at the weekends around various locations in South Liverpool (mainly Sefton Park tbf). #runningbully
