Diabetes has had a massive impact on my life. 

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 14 and have found it a challenge all my life to keep my sugars at an acceptable level. 

Two years ago my son Harry was diagnosed at the age of 2 with type 1 diabetes 

Harry has been a star with all the injections, finger prick tests and routine blood tests. He has recently been started on his dexcom continuous blood monitor and his  Medtronic insulin pump which has been a game changer with his control. It’s fair to say we couldn't be more proud of him.

I have decided to do this challenge to prove to Harry (and myself) that diabetes shouldn’t hold you back in anything you want to do.
