My son Arthur, was diagnosed with Autism at 4 years old. Arthur is in main stream school, supported by a EHCP, excellent teachers, and teaching assistants with his school being supportive and empathetic. I am taking on this challenge to raise awareness of Autism in the hope it helps more people to understand people like Arthur. Arthur is surrounded by the best mum and sisters I could wish for him and I m doing this for them as much as for Arthur 😀. I’m not much of a runner these days, however I do play Padel quite a bit so maybe that can count towards the 100 miles 👀🤣

This October, I'm taking part in the 100 miles in October challenge in aid of the National Autistic Society. The National Autistic Society are there to help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families - be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly, they are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.
