Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Anthony Nolan Trust and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
I am raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust as they have helped to save the life of my 2 year old daughter Eilidh who had a genetic blood and immunity disorder. Eilidh has needed their help twice now, with two bone marrow transplants having been carried out. Her first, which she received in May 2010, was not successful, and she rejected this time last year, just before Xmas. Thankfully she was able to have a second transplant, which she had in January this year and so far, touch wood, all is well and it has been a success.
Without the help of the Trust we would not have found a donor for Eilidh. Her donor is based in the US and it is through the work of the Trust and similar organisations in countries all over the world that give everyone of us access to a worldwide database of potential donors should we ever need it.
The Trust is entirely funded by donations so please help this worthwhile cause and see my neice Amy and I jump in to the Forth on New Year's day!! My beautiful and brave neice Amy is joining me for the Loony Dook this year, as she has been wanting to do something to help her cousin since she was diagnosed
