Story

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

42 years ago I lost my father (when I was 7 years old) to a brain tumour. He had always been a fit and healthy man, but the disease didn't seem to care about that. He died at the age of 48. Now that I'm 49, I want to do my part to help both children and adults who are suffering or may suffer from this terrible disease in the future.

For those who participate in or know about BMF (British Military Fitness), they'll confirm that a session is not to be taken on lightly. It's a tough ordeal.  I think the most ‘Green-bib’ sessions (the toughest ones) I have completed in a week up till now, was 4, about 11 years ago. I was pretty much wasted for the whole week after!  Now I'm up for 25 sessions from 20 June to 20 July. Almost (but not quite) one every day.

If you wish to support me in this madness, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your kind support.
