About The Ride
The London to Brighton 54 mile Bike Ride is for the fast and the fall behinds. For the solo riders and team players. It’s for the experienced and the newbies. The confident and the cautious.
Because every ounce of effort you give will help in the fight to end heart disease – and every penny you raise will help us cross our finishing line faster.
About Me
I have started riding and wanted to set myself some goals and challenges for 2018 and what better way than setting a goal where I can help raise some money for a great cause!
This will be a challenging ride for me, especially some of the hills like Ditchling Beacon, and the fact that i haven't come close to completing this distance either!
I will need to train a lot to be in the best shape possible for the race in June, which also helps me on my other goal, which is to complete a minimum of 2,500 miles during the course of 2018...i only completed 800 in 2017, with 100 coming in the last week of the year!
I have set a target of £350 as the BHF is integrally linked into research alongside Great Ormond Street Hospital who provided life-saving care several times for me in my youth.
Any amount of money you can spare would be greatly appreciated by myself and the BHF.
